This season is mainly about Isak and his struggles though :) I mean, don’t get me wrong, I looove Isak and Even just as much as the next person.. But this week was so fucking important!! :D There were so many major elements to it and it was incredibly well written, well paced and well played! I understand that people want more Even (with Isak), but please also consider what this week actually meant. Isak, a 17-year-old kid, finally admitted to his best friend that he was in love with a guy. That is so fucking huge. And I’ve never been prouder of a fictional character in my entire life. The scenes we have been shown this week deal with so many things, I don’t even know where to begin.. Just writing this is making me emotional about it haha. Everything from Isak not being able to sleep because of his problems (SO FUCKING RELATABLE!), bumping into the guy he’s crushing on and it being really painful/awkward, to Isak actually seeking help!!!!! and listening!!! to the advice!!!! he was given!!!! and then finally coming out to his best friend. It was all so well-written and performed. This week was probably more important than any other, especially for people struggling with mental illnesses (and illness in general), for lost teens, but maybe most of all for LGBTQ+ people!! ♥♥♥♥ This. show. is. fucking. important. SPREAD IT LIKE WILDFIRE, the world needs to be taught that these things can, should and need to be spoken about and shown in social media!!!! Okay.. Sorry that got way longer than I intended but I love this show with all of my heart. It’s seriously making me so emotional ♥ But still, I do hope for more Isak and Even next week now that the most important thing (Isak talking to someone and getting stuff off his chest) is.. idk, if resolved is the right word, but things have gotten a lot better/easier for Isak now ♥ :) Let’s get excited for what is to come :D
I feel like there are a lot of people out there just watching for Isak and Even. No hate, I totally get it and it’s up to you. :) I just want to see how many people will keep watching when we get a new perspective in season 4.
For more than a century and a half, astronomers have known that the sun is tilted.
That is, the sun rotates on an axis that isn’t quite perpendicular to
the orbits of Earth and the other major planets ― all of which lie in
the same plane because all formed out of a disk-shaped cloud of gas and dust that was spinning around the sun early in the solar system’s 4.6-billion-year history.
But no one has ever come up with a convincing explanation for this peculiar tilt ― until now.
Planet Nine is thought to be about 10 times bigger than Earth and about 500 times farther from
the sun, according to Space.com. Its orbit is believed to be inclined
at an angle of about 30 degrees from the other planets’ orbital plane.
This cockeyed orbit means that Planet Nine’s gravitational forces
have been tugging on the other planets in a way that has gradually
caused their orbital plane to shift.
“Because Planet Nine is so
massive and has an orbit tilted compared to the other planets, the solar
system has no choice but to slowly twist out of alignment,” Elizabeth
Bailey, a graduate student at Caltech and the study’s lead author, said
in a press statement.
The sun’s spin axis has a tilt of about 6 degrees off the orbital
plane of the major planets. And when the scientists calculated how much
of a tilt Planet Nine would have caused, they came up with the same
number. Mystery solved!
Of course, technically speaking, the sun only appears tilted from our perspective.
“What’s actually going on is that the sun is staying put in its fixed reference frame and it’s the planetary orbits that are being tilted
by Planet Nine,” study co-author Konstantin Batygin, an assistant
professor of planetary science at Caltech, told Astronomy magazine. “So
Planet Nine has tilted the entire disk of the solar system by 6 degrees
and because we live on that disk…to us it looks like the sun is
tilted, but it’s actually the other way around.”
But if that’s the explanation for the sun’s apparent tilt, what explains Planet Nine’s bizarre orbit?
There are several possible explanations, Batygin told The Huffington
Post. The likeliest, he said, is that early in the solar system’s
history, gravitational forces from a star not far from the sun pulled
Planet Nine from the orbital plane that until then it had shared with
the other planets.
Of course, that’s not proven. Nor has it been proven that Planet Nine actually exists.
“It’s not firmly established that Planet Nine is there, because we’ve
never seen it,” Batygin said. “Am I certain that it’s there?
Absolutely.”
And proof could be on the way. Batygin said several groups of
astronomers are searching for Planet Nine using some of the world’s
biggest telescopes.

Every time I hear about Planet 9 my mind automatically goes to what’s widely considered the worst movie ever made - Plan 9 from Outer Space. If they do find the planet and it has moons, I think they should name one after Ed Wood. ;)
Also, Dr. Batygin would be a great name for a sci-fi character. :)
